How to write a "Hello World" program in Python (With Code Example)

 

INTRODUCTION

This tutorial teaches you how to create a simple program that print out hello world on the screen. The tutorial is meant for beginners. It is mostly the first program written for programmers when learning a programming language. 

CODE SAMPLE

txt="Hello World!"

print(txt)

EXPLANATION

Line 1: Declare a variable called txt of type string and assign the value "Hello World!" to it

Line 2: Use the print function to print the value of  variable txt

TRY IT YOURSELF

Replace the "Hello World!" in the double quote with your first name and last name then run your editor.

CONCLUSION

The program is a simple first beginner programmer that print hello world to the screen for a user. It also allow the user to try experimenting on his/her own.
